How to sew peeps bunnies to look like the real ones. Some Bunny Loves You Sewing Party: This party was a big success for us and we had to run two of them each weekend! We had nine bunny patterns for the students to choose from. (Most of the bunnies you can find on our sister site on the Sewing For Easter Page and you are welcome to use our patterns.) We had everything from calico bunnies, to laying bunnies, miniature bunnies, floppy-eared bunnies, chocolate bunnies, and even bunnies that looked exactly like marshmallow peeps! We used bright colored flannel fabric for them and sprinkled glitter on to look like sugar. We also pre-cut most of the bunnies so that our students could just relax and enjoy making bunnies and not worry about pinning and cutting. Our party lasted 3.5 hours and we also had Easter candy and veggies & dip and cheese & crackers for the students to enjoy. How to sew a chocolate fabric bunny for Easter crafting. We offered this party to students of all skill levels from beginner to advance. Our most popular bunny crafts are shown here; three bunny peeps that we put in a cut off bright green lunch bag with Easter grass, and glued the peeps sign to it, and a chocolate bunny, all of which were made from soft flannel fabrics.

See My Handmade Bunny Collection! I love decorating my home at Easter time with all my bunnies I’ve made throughout the years. Now that my kids are older, I have to start making several of each bunny so they can decorate their own homes too. Make sure you see the two pages of photos of my handmade bunny collection and get inspired to make some bunnies with your sewing students!
